Comments about Chatham Furniture Lifestyle Maple Tall Chest:
I refused this item on delivery. It had some minor damage (a glue block had fallen off), but the real problem was that two of the drawers were not flush with the line of the dresser. When pushed in, the front of the drawer was flush, but the two sides were in far enough that you could see the unstained wood of the frame. This is premium quality?
Service and delivery comments:
A week after refusing delivery, I had to call to find out what was going on. I was told that an investigation had to take place before anything could be decided. A week plus later, I called to say that I wanted a full refund due to the poor customer service and the quality of the dresser, which did not, to my mind, rate the "premium rating". I was told that all they could do was refund part of the shipping, and so I'd have to pay $240 for the pleasure of receiving a damaged dresser which was not as advertised. It is now in dispute with my credit card company.
