In her New York based design studio, Sandy Chilewich continues to discover ways to push textiles beyond their comfortable and sometimes monotonous context. Her woven vinyl, which has become her signature textile for tabletop, floormats and bags, is currently available in a wide selection of weaves and colors. Sandy’s passion is finding under utilized, often overlooked manufacturing techniques, and from them produce fresh, modern textiles. Over the past 10 years, Sandy has added spun and tufted vinyls to her collections. Sandy prides herself on original design and strives to bring a fresh perspective to the table.Features:

- Runner should be stored flat to prevent permanent creasing
- Clean using soap and water with a damp cloth
- Should a stubborn stain occur, woven vinyl is very durable and can withstand aggressive scrubbing with a bleach based cleanser. This will remove the stain without altering the fabric
- Do not iron. This is a vinyl product
- Should you discover shortly after receiving your Woven Vinyl Runner that parts are either damaged or missing, please call us immediately, and we will be happy to send you replacement parts as soon as possible and at no additional cost

Since 1997, Sandy has worked from her New York based studio applying her interest in color and experimentation with fibers to create the company's signature vinyl textiles. The durability of the yarn, its tremendous design versatility and the fact that it is stain resistant and truly washable continues to inspire her.
Plynyl, the commercial grade wall-to-wall and tile application, was developed by Sandy’s architect husband, Joe Sultan. They are now partners, with a corporate name change to Chilewich Sultan, and manage all aspects of the business together.
With a palette of rich, subtle colors that range from natural earth tones to lustrous metallics, these textiles are used for placemats, table runners, flooring, custom mats and accessories. All Chilewich products are made entirely in the USA and sold around the world.

We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. If you want an item left at your doorstep, the best thing to do is leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No Signature Required." Be sure to include your name and tracking number on the note.
