I use it in place of a microwave cart, for storage and for food preparation. It is a very attractive addition to my kitchen. It is sturdy and well built.

I bought this buffet to replace a broken microwave cart in my kitchen. I love how much storage space it gives me in a small area: 3 large shelves, 2 small drawers, and an additional small cabinet. It looks like a very classy piece of furniture (no one would guess how little I paid!) On top I have a microwave with a toaster oven on top as well as a hot water pot. There's not much counter space left. For my purposes it's terrific. If you're looking for useable counter workspace, it might not be so great, because the counter is very low, not at working level. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

The buffet is being used as an information station at one of our church entrances. The storage is wonderful for our offering baskets, extra flyers, business cards, etc. It's just as I expected it would be -- very sturdy -- and the price was perfect for our budget!

This was easy to assemble and the bottom cracked the firat time during assembly but I called and it was replaced with no hassles. This item could be just about four inches taller but otherwise it is a grat investment and was what we were looking for.
