Galtech 9' Market Umbrella (4 Pulley) - 139/239X

Materials are good, [...] NO instructions provided by manufacturer regarding assembly and function. That was a rude surprise.The company's base for a free standing umbrella does not appear on the Wayfair website and doesn't have wheels (as per information on the Galtech website).Getting a better fit for the stand purchased required a wait for a substitute part. The umbrella function for a tilt position and to change from tilt to vertical requires a really strong grip to make the rotation, too strong for my otherwise good-with-tools female hands. Recommended with the cautions cited.

Great looking and easy to use - tilt feature is quite clever - simply rotate umbrella clockwise for tilt.

This was our 2nd order of he same umbrella. We bought the first umbrella a few years ago and found it very functional, constructed of high quality materials (we chose a Sunbrella fabric), and aesthetically pleasing.

Very pleased with this umbrella. I purchased it in the standard navy fabric and it looks as good as the sunbrella items I own even after two months of use. The tilt feature is easy to use and the pulleys make it simple to open and close. It has blown over in the wind while in the tilt setting, but that's to be expected. I like the fact that it has brass at the bottom so the wood won't rot in the stand - a great feature as well.

I have this umbrella on our west facing back patio and purchased it specifically for the tilt feature. The rotational tilt is great - simply turn the umbrella top clockwise to block the sun. Love the pulley feature - makes it easy to open and the brass at the bottom of the pole should extend the life of the umbrella in wet conditions. I chose the navy sunacrylic fabric and it seems like a quality fabric so far- great color and thickness. No need to pay extra for Sunbrella, I think. I'm using it with a 60 lb stand and it's very stable unless a high wind hits it while it's tilted then it's just like a sail and becomes unsteady, but that's to be expected. Can't give it 5 stars because I don't know how well it will wear yet, but it looks and performs wonderfully so far. I would recommend this umbrella.

This umbrella was listed as a quick ship item but it took longer than he 5-7 days highlighted in the description. I imagine I must have missed some fine print somewhere. Arrived in perfect condition - no problems at all.
