Unfortunately, we received this item damaged. The box appeared it wient through a tornado. I contacted Wayfair to inform them we refused the item and would appreciate a replacement. The staff was very compassionate to situation. I expressed that we were expecting company and allocated the delivery to arrive before their arrival. The Wayfair representative expressed he would do anything to help. The 2nd table arrived just in time and in perfect condition. We are very happy and the quality of this item and customer service is stellar!

The table looks great, especially in the Tobacco coloring. The tilt top is great, too, as it lets me stash things inside the table and out of view (laptop cords, external drives, books, etc.) The downside is that it scratches easily. VERY easily. Just sliding something more abrasive than felt across it leaves little scratches, while things like my laptop leave pretty obvious scratches in it. Furthermore, placing my feet up on the table has, over about 2 months, caused the finish to become mottled. I'm not sure if I put my feet up when I had wet socks, but this may have been the culprit. In short, it's a great table, but you have to care for it as though it's delicate. Which, depending on your living room situation, may not be realistic. It is, after all, a TABLE, and one would assume it could stand up to regular table uses.

This is the perfect table for our family room. We love it!! Love to have dinner while watching our favorites. Great for company too. It is exactly as descibed. Highly recommend.

This table is gorgeous. It is very large and feels substantial. The construction is excellent. It shows fingerprints easily due to the dark color/high shine finish. The lift-top mechanism works very well and is a conversation starter. I would highly recommend it to anyone. [...] I set it up myself (just have to screw legs on). Retail locally was more than Wayfair plus tax [...] so I saved a bundle.

Absolutely love the Paula Deen table...beautiful color (tobacco) and beautiful lines. We also love the function of the top easily and gently coming up and out to make a tv tray. Just love it and highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful... exactly what I was looking for. And the lifting side is so useful! It does leave a smudge here and there when you touch it but it is not really too noticeable and what dark wood furniture doesn't? It's very big so I wouldn't recommend it for someone with a small living room, but if you have the space then it really fills it beautifully and looks way more expensive than it is. P.S. [...] has this for sale at [$], I looked at it at the store and loved it and looked for it online the second I got home hoping to find a better price... so glad I did!

Very heavy and substantial. Color is as it appears in the photo. We don't use the lift mechanism (half of the top can be lifted up and used as a TV tray) since this table is in a formal living room, but the idea is a good one.

The table is beautiful until you lay anything on the top. I had it in my home 3 days put a few magazines on it and it is covered with scratches. [...]Will have to order 2 pieces of glass to cover top. Not happy with finish. Not good with kids because of the easy way it gets surface scratches

All we had to do was install the legs! Very easy! The table is everything I thought it would be. Very well built, and very strong. Makes quite the statement in my living room.

The service I received was "outstanding". I felt I had a very personal experience. They hung in with me and all my questions were answered promptly and completely. Delivery (to Toronto Ont.)was a bit longer than I thought, but it still worked out for the best. I would definitely shop here again!!!
